Anna's House – Consulting & Food Safety Certification

A letter of recommendation from Anna's House

I would like to take a moment to share my experiences with Culinary Cultivations and its owner Shawn Kohlhaas. As our company has grown very quickly in the last two years, Shawn has been there for us every step of the way. We have grown from one location with 75 seats, to having four locations in the West Michigan area. The largest with 198 seats. Shawn has helped us with a variety of projects to keep our expanding business organized and our managers on track with best practices for their locations. A few specific projects Shawn has helped us with are: Creating a portioning “Flashbook” for our Front and Back of house staff, executed training programs in-house with our managers, keeps all of our managers ServeSafe certified by enrolling them in their certification classes, if not running the classes himself and generally helping us with any possible need or question you could think of. Shawn has been particularly helpful to me, as a growing District Manager. If I am ever in “crisis mode”, I know I can count on him with support or answers to any questions I may have regarding the food and beverage industry. On a personal level, he is a real joy to work with and I always look forward to our projects."

The design and atmosphere that every customer gets to experience when coming for a meal is bright and inviting and many of our customers always rave about the atmosphere when they come and find it most enjoyable. Anna’s House is designed to fit a “retro diner” style with fresh colors, styles, and a great open layout. The larger-than-life hand-painted murals are a welcome site to many and have set an iconic style to our restaurant. We’ve attempted to give you a glimpse through some of these photos and videos we’ve provided on this site, but they don’t give true justice to the atmosphere. You NEED to come and experience it for yourself! Our desire is to not only provide outstanding food but also provide top quality service to every customer. Our serving staff are friendly and cheerful and all our staff are driven to provide exceptional quality in food and service to you. We work hard to provide staff with great experience that can answer any questions you may have about the menu choices we offer and serve you in such a way that gives you the best experience for your money. We want you leaving full and satisfied and glad you spent your time at Anna’s House making meaningful life connections with family, friends, or colleagues.
